Old Hands

Been there. Done that.

If you've done this once or twice before; or if you've been doing it for years we can certainly save time during orientation and skip a bunch of steps - it's up to you. We're happy to spend as much (or as little) time walking you through your rental as you wish.

The Big Day

What to expect.

Some people come fully loaded and pack up right in the parking lot, while others prefer to pick up the rig and bring it home before departing. Expect the orientation to take about an hour. There's a lot of information to cover, we urge you to watch every video we have posted about your rental in the hopes that it won't be quite so overwhelming the day of pickup. There's a fair amount of paperwork to go through as well.

COVID-19

Staying safe and healthy.

Due to Covid-19, we are having to alter the way we do things. We want to keep personal, face to face contact to an absolute minimum. We urge all renters to watch every video we have posted to familiarize yourself with the operation of the motorhome prior to pickup. If you or anyone in your party is feeling sick, we urge you to consider remaining at home. If you have any illness we ask that you let us know prior to pickup or drop off. We will need to know your travel plans before renting: Where are you going and for how long?

  • A minimum of 72 hours between rentals;
  • The rig will be cleaned and sanitized at the end of that initial 72 hours prior to being released to the next renters - that work will be done by me, wearing a mask and gloves the entire time;
  • We are removing all bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, bedding, blankets, comfortors or pillows;
  • There will be no supplies such as bug spray, sun screen, toothpaste, toiletries or extra medicines;
  • We have also removed all outdoor furniture, camp chairs, hammock, although we are leaving the outdoor rug;
  • Most if not all "shared" resources are going to be removed, we will leave the appliances, pots, pans, silverware, pretty much anything can be easily cleaned;
  • We will also be leaving the grill and grilling utensils;
  • Be mindful of your travel plans - some states are asking visitors to quarantine for fourteen (14) days - you may also wish to quarantine upon your return;
  • Call ahead if you intend to use a campground - not everyone is open and some may have restrictions you will want to take into account before departure;
  • Please stay safe, stay healthy and have fun.
